About Us

The Emma Risbrough School Of Dancing was founded in 1999 and is a member of the B.A.T.D (British Association of Teachers of Dancing).

Emma Risbrough who founded the school has over 20 years of experience in the Dance industry. The school aims to bring some of the North East's best dance talent to light over the next few years

The school was initially started as a hobby, and to also create interest in the local community, As time went by, more and more children joined and is now a growing concern in the local area. With pupils traveling from different parts of the region to be part of this successful dance school.Over the past few years, the pupils of the school have achieved very impressive results in both exams and competition work. This is due to determination of the pupils and the teacher herself.
