Hundreds of North East dancers will come together in Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Leeds for the 2010 North East Dance Championships in October of this year. This competition is open to ages 6 – 20 years.

An event that is open to any dance style from Ballet to Street dance that shows the full potential of the regions talent. Performers from across the North East will compete in blocks of 20 where individuals & Groups will be selected for the final and a chance to win the Dance Championship title, cash prizes and a slot at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End of London in May 2011.

Winners of the Championships will receive the following prizes.

1st Prize = £500.00 + NEDC + Award + Performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London

2nd Prize = £250.00 + NEDC Runner Up + Award + Performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre London

3rd Prize = NEDC Runner Up + Award

Dance Entrance Fee £10.00 per performer, per dance.
Spectator Fee - £7.00 per heat
